John Wanner -

John grew up on a family ranch/grain farm in western North Dakota. He has
Bachelor and Master Degrees in Engineering. His career includes 12 years in
Engineering, 14 years as co- owner in retail businesses and 12 years in Real
Estate. For 11 of his years in Real Estate he owned Wanner & Company, Metro
Brokers in Denver.
John moved to Montrose with his family in 1994 and feels it is a fantastic
place to live! He enjoys camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, Jeeping, ATVing,
skiing, gardening, landscaping and home construction projects.
John enjoys working with people and his goal is to exceed the expectations of
his clients in their real estate needs.

I have lived in Montrose for over 18 years. I love the people
and the beauty of this valley. My passion is working with people. In 2005 I
received the Kudos Award from the City of Montrose for my customer service.
Along with my real estate work, I also enjoy working at Starbucks Coffee two
days a week. If you stop in sometime, maybe you'll see me behind the counter
whipping up a "tall mocha."
Some
of my hobbies include: camping with my family in the San Juan Mountains, bike
riding, playing Frisbee golf, and performing in productions at our local Theater
playhouse.
After traveling to many different states and countries, I still
consider Montrose to be one of my favorite places in the world because of the
values, culture, and amazing beauty of this area.

After living on the Front Range for over 20 years, my family and I moved here
to Montrose to enjoy the beauty and the many recreational activities that this
area has to offer.
My husband and I own a Development/Construction company here in Montrose and
we serve this town and the surrounding area. My background includes an Avionics
Degree and I had spent several years in the technology industry.
I have three children and we enjoy horseback riding and dirt biking on the
endless BLM (Bureau of Land Management) trails, swimming and boating, camping,
and of course skiing! It is because of these wonderful amenities so close to us
that my family and I know we made the right move!
